Missy Robertson has learned to live life in the spotlight as she plays an important part in her family’s record-breaking reality television series, Duck Dynasty. Despite the increased publicity on her family, company and personal life, she has managed to become a strong voice for morality and virtue both locally and globally.
Missy is a devoted mother of three children who focuses on having a strong, happy and loving family. She married Jase Robertson at age 19 and has supported him ever since. She has contributed heavily to the Robertson family business, Duck Commander, and has been an integral part of the success that the family and company have seen in recent years.
Missy is always the first to recognize the hand of God in her life as she continually sets a prime example of humility and consistent faith in her public and personal life. In order to show her gratitude for her many blessings, she spends a large amount of her time volunteering to give back to her community. She has worked as the crafts director for the last six summers at Camp Ch-Yo-Ca, a local Christian youth camp where both she and Jase spent many summers as kids. She is heavily involved in missionary work, both domestically and internationally.
In October 2015, she authored a book entitled Blessed, Blessed…Blessed chronicling her family’s journey of raising a child born with a cleft lip and palate. How their reliance on God has enabled them to persevere through life's unforeseen challenges and heartaches and show how they are truly blessed. In early 2014, she co-authored The Women of Duck Commander with Miss Kay, and her sisters-in-law, in which they shared never-before-told stories about the Robertson family.
Missy also spends time helping to design modest and stylish clothing for her clothing line, Missy Robertson by Southern Fashion House, and has recently launched Laminin, a new jewelry line that is made in her hometown of West Monroe. She has her own website, www.missyrobertson.com, keeping her fans up-to-date on her latest clothing and jewelry lines and offers a weekly devotional page to help encourage people to pursue a personal relationship with God
Missy also co-founded, with Jase, the Mia Moo Fund. This fund is dedicated to raising awareness and to give financial assistance to children with their treatments associated with cleft lip & palate. The organization began in 2014 after Mia Robertson, daughter of Jase and Missy Robertson, completed her 5th surgery for her cleft palate. The Mission of the fund is to inform, inspire and improve the quality of life for children born with cleft lip and palate, because every kid deserves a smile. Birthday: April 22, 1971 (age 47)
